Just think how good we will be next year/ after we dominate again this year.

Positive thread here.
We will be good this year 9-1 8-2 I believe.
But don’t get down LSU will have better talent on PAPER than 2019 GOAT team in 2021. May not perform like them but certainly has the talent.
Overview: 2021
Brennan returns
Mcmath could return with the covid extra year eligibility.
Palmer
Boutte
TDP
Curry
Emery
Gilbert
Moore
Jenkins
Adams
All return!!
Whole backfield will be be back!!
Defense
Stingley ( best player in CFB)
Elias ricks 5*

Mcgotheren( however you spell it)

Alabama gets called dominant for winning championships and consistently being a top 5 program.

You forgot the guy who very well may be one of the top 3 players on the team next year, BJ Ojulari.

2020 can be a surprisingly good year, but 2021 was always our next Championship window.
Myles with a year under his belt, our 3 RBs with a solid year of heavy load, needed line depth/experience, and our CBs and safeties will all be 3rd+ year players, even our kicker will be a 3rd year player.
This year needs to happen so that next we year we can return majority of our starters and be set up for a really strong run.
But this year can and probably will be very solid.

Yeah doubtful. When is the last SEC team that was worth a shite that didn’t prioritize good defense? The fact is Leach doesnt care for recruiting, he’s admitted that before and he for sure isn’t great at any recruiting defense. His air raid can be smothered when the opposing team has solid DB’s so how do you think he will do with Stingley, Flott, Ricks, Harris, Stevens, etc out there? He’s in for a long welcome to the SEC game.

Unfortunately, I believe the new trend in CF will be to sit out Jr year if Soph year was strong. Kids want to avoid injuries and protect their bodies to assure they are drafted into the league.
