I know, I know, this season was a disappointment in many ways especially considering the expectations of excellence we have for the LSU program. That being said, I’m glad that we are here, despite yesterday’s loss, in a position to win out and make the College World Series.

Geaux Tigers! Let’s do this.

Me too tbh. Never thought I would be about to watch them play a super regional on a Sunday

Asking the negatigers to be realists and have some perspective is a lot to ask apparently.

That's not what the man said. He still believes this team has a chance to get to Omaha, and he's right.

Loads of folks just got here from 1997, only watch LSU in the postseason, and can’t figure out why the entire lineup can’t hit .375 no more.

Yes LSU wasn't expected to be here. But once they did it would be nice if the coaches didn't screw everything up with horrible decisions. People can take getting drummed by a better team. People can't take coaches screwing up wins.

I agree, but LSU isn't a program that should be "just glad to be here"

That’s what I said but high expectations should be tempered with reality. You won’t always win or make the right decisions. That’s life.

I wouldn't even say Tenn played better. Teams looked pretty evenly matched. Just untimely mistakes and pulling a pitcher that had no business being pulled that early

I agree. If your pitcher is hot, you ride him until he’s not.

How many teams are there in college baseball? How many are playing in a super regional? Wonder how many that aren’t would love to just be here... sheesh

That's what I said. LSU isn't on the road playing a team substantially better. Which is why it sucks when the coaches blow the game.

Like when LSU went to Oregon State in 2018. LSU got drubbed. There's nothing you can do and people took it That's not the case here.

Gee I’m kind of wondering the same thing. I mean, at a minimum .325 given the new bats.

Exactly! We are playing in the super regional and we have a good chance, despite an underwhelming season, to advance to the World Series. We even led Tennessee yesterday for most of the game and could have won it. Can’t we just support our boys today?

CPM has not been sharp for a couple of years. No energy. I hope they hire a young energetic coach.

How did the coaches blow the game exactly?

The top of the order could have blown Hilliard away. We don't know.

If Doughty makes a standard play, the game is possibly tied in the 9th. You can't expect a team to win only scoring 2 runs and players as good as Morgan striking out 4 times in a game.

Yeah could have

Or he could have gone out and pushed Tennessee's shite in like he did for the first 5 innings.
