I know it’s useless to come up with these hypotheticals but how much different of a team would we be with :

Trey Quinn
John Diarse
Tyron Johnson
Jazz Ferguson

Savion Smith
Teuhuma
Willie Allen
George Brown

Honestly I know it’s useless but I see a completely different team if we retain all these guys . I know attrition happens to all programs but it seems like Bama and some of these other schools have much better
“Luck” with this . Maybe we run a cleaner program , who knows . It’s aggravating to think what we could be with all those players .

I guess in the end this all falls down to recruiting players with obvious character flaws . We need to be more cognizant of these types of things when recruiting.

Quinn was never the same after the auburn targeting. as big of a disappointment as I can remember in recent years.
diarse would be a nice slot guy with good size to target.
tyron got frustrated. cant say I blame him.
jazz? don't know what he was going to become.

savion- couldn't win the job. img 5 stars aren't used to not being in the spotlight.
teuhema- this one stings. best lineman.
allen- MAC quality
George brown- "there was one?"

I agree. We are feeling the effects of those departures now.

Trey Quinn John Diarse Tyron Johnson

These three would help, primarily to have veteran leadership at WR.

Jazz Ferguson

Would be buried in the depth chart.

Savion Smith

Who would he be above? D.J.? Nope. Greedy? Nope. KT2? Nope. Vincent? Maybe.

Teuhuma

This one hurts the most.

Projects that may have never panned out.

that's nice and all, but it aint going over the middle in the sec. he really struggled after that hit. the bama game comes to mind. Stephen f Austin, Arkansas st, UConn, and n texas aren't the same.

Every team deals with attrition man. Good coaching can overcome or at least mask the attrition with the type of athletes LSU has on hand. Losers excuse.

How many good teams are in the SEC this year? 2?

Point is he's balling out. So much for him "never being the same" when he's better now than he was before that hit

I think many are seeing now just how good TCU is, the way they dominated Arkansas at Arkansas was no fluke, Oklahoma State has a big time offense with a Heisman QB and TCU did well at Ok St. Houston has a top 10 defense. TQ seemed to do just fine against them. The AAC has three teams in the top 25. I think the SEC arguement was good years ago when the SEC West in particular was strong. Trey Quinn had very good games against Florida and Ole Miss his true freshman year, both were top ranked defenses with several NFL DBs.

I just want Les back until we find someone equal or better.

I mean, we're paying him. Why not let him earn some of the $15m or whatever he's owed?
