I hate to be the fan who is calling for a head coach's head this early. It is his first year, but I just don't think O is going to be even close to the elite coach that will at least keep us in the conversation every year to win the West... So ideally I think it would be best to cut ties, Alleva admit it was just an all around bad hire and we go out and get PJ Fleck.

I'd like to see a good long term hire, someone young who can establish their own brand onto a program. He is only 36 years old. He won at Western Michigan and is doing pretty good so far, in his first year at Minnesota.

If for some random reason someone came to me and asked me what should LSU do about the coaching situation, that would be my recommendation.. Thoughts?

He's not leaving Minnesota he was just hired he's not a pos like Kiffen! I'd love to have him as well. That's who I wanted the whole time. He's young full of fire and intensity. Pj would be great here with this talent pool. Thanks Alleva & King!

Mike Leach has already been mentioned, I suggested the sweater vest, too

Hell, Rich Rod is starting to look enticing at this point as well as Bo Pelini

No to Rich Rod.
Would love Leach.
Wouldn’t hate Bo Pelini
Fleck was one of the coaches I liked last year at this time.

Especially when you see the brand new facilities they're building up there. He wins 8-9 games a year and he's king in the twin cities.

I could live with Mike Leach..

As for as Rich Rod and Bo Pelini

IMO, I don't think it would be a good idea to fire O just to hire one of these guys. Maybe if he quits or something and that is the only coaches we can hire then maybe so..

This is another name, I know this will not likely ever happen, but Dan Mullen?

I was wrong to bash Draconian during the search last year. He saw the potential

Fleck is making $3.5 million a year at Minnesota. What's O making? Somewhere between $3-4 million?
