They have enough dirt to fire for cause if they decide to make the move. And right now it’s looking likely unless he turns things way around quickly

FIFY

There’s no way the wheels aren’t in motion.

O is/was never a Woodward guy. And I’m sure you can confirm, I would imagine that the powers that be and the people with money and strong push or pull are already in his ear.

Yeah, letting him stay a year past that stuff coming to light won’t look disingenuous at all to a court when he sues for his buyout

No way they make what would essentially be an admission of guilt leading to lawsuits way more expensive than the buy out to just fire orgeron.

Absolutely they do. And to keep it from coming to light he would most definitely negotiate a significantly lower buyout.

If they have cause to fire him than you fire him for cause, you don't use it when it doesn't go your way. In litigation the other party will use that.

Maybe don’t buy out Peetz and Jones but move them to analysts. At least make them show up to work to earn the money. Hopefully they can’t frick up watching film.

They'll probably just call one of the "anonymous" girls to get back in the media to stir the pot again.

It’s simple. You just open a new “investigation” and “find” what you need. And to prevent that from ever seeing the light of day, he negotiates a lower buyout.

I figured as much. That was probably part of the appeal of his hire in the first place.

A re-negotiated buyout would probably be in everyone's best interest. I'm not going to say the guy deserves to walk away with nothing.
