I'm curious if The Cajuns go REAL bold and hold Robichaux until Saturday.
They will. And if they lose to SH, they'll save him for game 3.

They're seriously that LSUsessed?

I like Eades to pitch Friday. I honestly think we could pitch Nate Fury the whole game and still beat Jack St. Nothing against them because they will be a scrappy bunch. Once we take the lead it will be over. Eades just needs a solid first few innings.
Saturday, presuming we win, has to be Nola as the starter. That's the pressure point of the regional. Win that game and you should have enough pitching, especially with our depth, to survive a loss and come back with a solid pitcher for the rubber match. Fortunately for us we won't need that extra game.

I like it. I figured he would get the ball since Jackson St probably doesn't normally see a guy with Eades' fastball.

I like that we're changing things up, this might be in anticipation for the Super Regional rotation

Are u kidding? If eades can't be jsu we don't deserve to advance.

Eades vs JSU - RHP going against a heavily right-handed lineup.
Glenn vs JSU - LHP better at holding on runners against a team with a lot of stolen bases.
I really think that the decision is about ULL, though. Glenn held ULL to 3 hits and zero runs in 7 innings earlier in the year. Why wouldn't you want him to face the Cajuns again?

Jackson St is seventh in the NCAA in steals per game
keep in mind they play in the swac. they will steal on eades for sure but I don't think that will matter with the offense we should put up against them. Plus I suspect they don't get more then a run or two.

because Nola would probably pitch better against them.

so will they keep the same order for the supers? if nola doesnt pitch until sunday, that puts him on 4 days rest to pitch the first game of supers

Nola is pitching Saturday....the only interesting thing about this, is that Eades might pitch game 2 of a possible super regional

I fully suspect that Nola will pitch Saturday against UL or Sam Houston's ace.
Glenn will put the finishing touches hopefully on a regional victory.
Setting up probably same order for supers
Eades starts Thursday/Friday
Nola Starts Friday/Saturday (hopefully to clinch a spot to omaha or keep us alive for omaha)
Glenn Starts Saturday/Sunday (I rather him have the weekend off)

There are no super regionals starting on Thursday. 4 start on Friday and 4 start on Saturday.

my fault
and that actually changes my predictions
I would say
Nola Starts game 1
Glenn Game 2
Eades game 3

They announce that after regionals are done. Here are the possible scenarios:
Site 1: Friday 12:00, Saturday 11:00, Sunday 12:00
Site 2: Friday 3:00, Saturday 2:00, Sunday 3:00
Site 3: Friday 6:00, Saturday 3:00, Sunday 6:00
Site 4: Friday 6:00, Saturday 9:00, Sunday 9:00
Site 5: Saturday 12:00, Sunday 12:00, Monday 12:00
Site 6: Saturday 11:00, Sunday 3:00, Monday 3:00
Site 7: Saturday 6:00, Sunday 6:00, Monday 6:00
Site 8: Saturday 6:00, Sunday 9:00, Monday 6:00
I think we can safely rule out Site 4 and Site 8. They are reserved for the west coast super regionals.
