Eades.
JS has 7 right-handed batters in their starting lineup.
This.
Mainieri always goes with the best match-up. I don't know if I like Glenn pitching to ULL for the 2nd time potentially, and I rather a lefty to keep runners on 1st base a little closer. But this is what I was expecting.

I think it's a great move. Put away the overall numbers and look at the last 4 outings for both Eades and Glenn. Glenn is clearly our #2 right now. If we win Friday , start Glenn on Saturday and Nola on Sunday. I like it

Makes good baseball: Eades Friday, Nola Saturday, and Glenn Sunday. If Second Game McCune Or Neuman.

There exists no universe where Nola isn't pitching on Saturday.

Trust Coach PM and whatever order we pitch our guys we need to hit a little better and we will be FINE (I am looking at you Raph and Katz)

Saw Juday Pitch In SWAC tourney. Nothing But Curve Balls. Wait On Curve And Score 15 Runs!!!!!!!

But I don't think anyone in the country (other then stanek and maybe a vandy pitcher) can match up with Nola.
So, you haven't watched any baseball outside the SEC

Agree. Was really hoping we'd rest Eades' tired arm. Let him close-out the game on Sunday or save him for the (if necessary) game.
We can beat Jackson State with anyone pitching.

What were you doing watching the SWAC tournament?

Has it been said that these swac teams mostly see 85-90mph fastballs with a lot of offspeed all year due to the teams they play?
Eades provides a type of pitcher that that are not used to--a power arm with a 92-95mph fastball and some above average offspeed.
I think the matchup is better than throwing glenn, as glenn's repetoire is closer to what jsu has seen a lot this year
