This involves the FBI and potential obstruction of justice and possible BS perjury based off he said she said BS. This isn’t as simple as your simple minded brain is trying to compare the two scenarios you have laid out.

What shocks me is at what point does Joe Alleva step forward and tell the public that it's not his decision, but _______ and __________ (whoever it is, just list them out).
Because this is the 2nd or 3rd time this has happened. Either Joe Alleva is a lying piece of shite, or he has no balls and does not know how to stick up for himself and just gets dragged through the mud as a sacrificial lamb. Time and time again.

We’re just run like such a Mickey Mouse organization. At most Wade should have to meet with Alleva and Alleva then takes his decision to the board and F King. If it goes to shite then that’s on Joe. They really shouldn’t be this involved in the decision but Louisiana is gonna Louisiana

What I don't understand if all this is correct and I have to believe that Culotta is usually spot on with his information, this James Williams is only 1 of 16 supervisors and does not have the ability to fire and/or hire. Do we not have any single BOS that can stand up and show some balls or some fire. I mean he's just one and shouldn't matter if he is chairman or not, he's just one vote. Can someone explain.

WHy would anyone want LSU to get to the bottom of anything?
They need to pretend they know nothing about what he's doing, while also stating that he isn't doing anything wrong.
Nothing positive could come from LSU knowing exactly how Will Wade got two 5* recruits from the northeast, just like nothing positive could come from LSU knowing how Les Miles got Patrick Peterson out of Florida to come to LSU. You play dumb, and you stand behind your coach until it is clear and all the facts have come out that the NCAA has got him.
If they stand behind him without any knowledge of whats happening, then when he is finally caught, by the NCAA, they can simply say he lied to us, and then you fire him, but you don't do that just b/c some yahoo from yahoo publishes some article and the ncaa isnt' even investigating you.

At the end of the day. WW should have gone to the meeting regardless. Bring lawyers to the meeting is a very bad sign. Wanting a list of questions is complete nonsense. Asking a key employee to come to a board meeting is not at all unreasonable.
Unfortunately the meeting avoidance. Lawyers and lists is all about the $9 million on his contract. Not innocent behavior by WW. I get it. He will be out. Again unfortunately given where this is now. He should be fired. He will probably not be a D-1 coach again. Or if so it will be a long time. So he has to,fight for the $9 million
