LSU fans love to blame coaches but it's pretty obvious how much this was lost by the players on the floor

Mickey essentially cost us the last 8 points.

What a choke

We couldn't bounce one free throw off the back board?

I'm seriously dumbfounded. We had 60 points such a long time ago and finished with 65. Don't even know what to think.

Shut up. How often do they practice free throws? How much do they emphasize it? I'll bet it's not nearly enough.

Basketball coaches pay lip service to free throws the way football coaches pay lip service to kickers and special teams. It's important, blah blah blah, and then it's not practiced enough. And it bites you in the arse one day.

I think Jones is a terrible coach, but even I can't put this one on him. The only big mistake he made was taking the ball out of TQ's hands in the 2nd half. That started the drought.

But Mickey absolutely killed LSU. Just any fricking basket. A FT,
Layup, anything, wins that game.
Plus where is Martin? How does your "best" player ALWAYS disappear down the sretch?

he had some errors, but he also initiated the offense and passed to some open guys. not his fault they didn't convert

also his D was exceptional and he smothered his man on the final play. mickey....did not

Fired period, its the coaching....sad rotations....sad game plan second half period..he's a sad coach, with that talent...unless they're throwing the game...seems to me they played there heart out so doubt that...they get nervous and choke ...that's the coaching!
