I hope you are right. It's sort of like a do or die season if he wants to play in the NFL.

Man if any RB breaks out I would be Excited af, we lacked this past season, it's time to run it down opposing teams throats

1st and goal from the 1 vs Mizzou tells me this is the weakest backfield LSU has fielded in a very long time.

Ccorey Kiner will light a fire under Emery and TDP. One or both will have to take it to another level this year. I believe TDP will shine this year.

Bad blocking, poorly designed scheme.
We thought we could do what’s wrong did in 2019 and it would work.

Hope so, but I think TDP will be the better Tiger overall.

I am thinking it’ll be TDP. He looked possessed against Florida, until he got hurt. OLine play hampered our RBs last year.

Emery needs to learn to hold onto the football if he wants to break out.

I don’t think it’s just me but after watching football for 50 years running back is one position you can tell if a guy is special in the first few games. Not at all saying a back cannot get better over his college career, but being elite is visible early.
I hate to say it but a don’t see it with John. Could he be real good, sure but not special.

We would have seen more from him if he were going to be more than just a rotational player. He’s got all the talent in the world but it just never seems to come together for him and now he’s got 2 very good young players coming for the same job on top of TDP.

John Emery is an average SEC running back.

The first of John Emery threads.....probably will see this each week.
Emery needs more touches??

You right. JE has all the tools. OC needs to realize how to use him. I'm pulling for him since he left Destrehan. Give him some slack people.

I’m hoping JE4 and TDP will both shine like a Holyfield/Swift combo. That would be great to see.

I feel like this guy is still riding on his recruiting hype with our fan base.

The next game is always going to be his breakout game.
I hope he does live up the hype finally this year but I’m. It counting on it.

I hope you're right. He has all the potential in the world, but we've only seen bits and pieces. Either he or TDP need to put it all together this year.
