Hopefully this helps him read defenses better and him and Brennan are on the same page ALL the time. I want Emery on the field as much as possible.

Pretty crazy, apparently he was legally blind in his right eye.
It's interesting because I can remember at one point this season one of the local BR radio guys (don't remember if it was Culotta, Hanny, or Moscona) talked about the real reason he wasn't getting on the field wasn't his pass blocking, but the fact that as a RB you have to be able to catch the ball out of the backfield in this offense.
I don't remember the game, but they referenced him getting into a game later in the season and one of his first plays was a dropped pass near the left sideline, it should have been an easy catch but he dropped it.
I'm interested in seeing what he will do now that he can see the ball.

I think it was 2008 every game there was a picture of Herman Johnson as the largest baby in LA and a discussion about how Bowe effectively blind until he had eye surgery.

Smart kid. He had a 3 year window to get someone else to pay for it.

Pump the brakes.
ETA: You meant in high school. My bad.

Matt Moscona factor putting in work

Good, maybe he’ll learn not to run in the backs of his O lineman. He may one day become a part of this offense but it won’t be anytime soon with what he showed last year.

I meant coming out of high school. Having only one eye was obviously hyperbole

LASIK is the best thing I ever did. I had it done in 2013, and I still see 20/20. Dwayne Bowe was a completely different player after he had his LASIK procedure.

Also, Trey Quinn had a problem.
Visual acuity tests would be a good idea for all players, once per year. They’re affordable and very necessary for ocular health in general.

Emery's eyesight is not the main issue with him, his immaturity and being a headache is what got him in the doghouse. If he matures and finally handles his business on and off the field along with better eyesight then he could be special.

That's going way back, but you're right. He got his vision corrected and it changed his game.
