Burrow is probably the best overall athlete -- he is a substantially better runner than Haskins. However, Haskins seems to have a naturally stronger and livelier arm although Joe looked awfully good yesterday.

Easy to understand how Haskins won the job over Burrow. In the 2017 Michigan game, Barrett got hurt in the 4th quarter with OSU trailing. Haskins threw a 19-yard bullet on 3rd down to extend a very important drive very shortly after he ended the game. Haskins won the game.

So, Haskins had big game experience and performed extremely well in it. Burrow because of a hand injury, had no big game experience in the winter of 2018 when OSU had to choose between Burrow and Haskins. OSU made the safe choice and chose the guy with a natural gun who had performed extremely well under major pressure. It turns out that OSU had 2 studs on the team at the same time.
