Dgafiap,
Apparently Joe was playing injured in natty... specifically torn rib cartilage.

Well dipshit, the doctors at the game did not say it was torn cartilage.

I’ve broken a rib playing football and I’ve torn cartilage in my ribs.
Every injury is different, but in my case the torn cartilage was the more painful injury.

Ignore the rude posters! You could see the grimacing. Joe was so focused he was not letting the pain keep him off the field. Very little was said by him or LSU about it. Warriors mentality!

To be fair I was at the game and had no idea he was hurt. We clearly weren’t getting the commentary or sideline reporting. Watched the replay the next day and that was the first I’d heard of it.

I mean everyone knew after that hit, he was injured in some way. Whether it was broken ribs, torn cartilage, etc. We didn't need an exact diagnosis to know he was hurt

The person sitting next to me at the game told me that TV said JB was hurt.
She got texted not long after it happened.
