Through 6 games he is now #3 in the Single Season Passing TDs with 25 (Mauck and Russell tied at #1 with 28)

He is just under 300 yards from breaking into the top 10 single season passing yards.

On pace to destroy Rohans Single Season Yards at 3,347 from the 2001 Season (did bowl stats count toward season total in 2001?)

I don’t think bowl stats counted....not sure, but Rohan threw for 528 in bowl win.

I think the next season is when they started to count. 2002

Either way, Burrow is on pace to break thr 3347 in 12 games

I'd still take Ro or Hobson first.

Looking at offensive stats this morning is unreal. LSU and Burrow are at the top of most of them.

They don't count but he only threw for 444 in the bowl.

I’m pretty nostalgic too, but there’s never been a better qb at LSU than Joe Burrow. Enjoy it, because you’re watching history unfold before your eyes.

It's Hodson, not Hobson, just fyi. Hodson was a very good QB, wasn't going to run for much yardage, but he had nerves of steel. He'd stand in that pocket, knowing he was going to get hammered, and wait for the receiver to get open. Joe's more mobile, more mobile that both Hodson and Ro. Tough call. But as concerning past LSU QB's, if I had my pick, it'd be the Ruston Rifle Bert Jones.

He will break the passing TD record this week and will break into the top ten as well.
