Damn, didn’t realize that. He will more than likely break it by halftime of the TAMU game

Stupid question, but would SECCG stats be included in that?

He’ll probably break it regular season, but I would think definitely during SECCG.

I don’t know? They have this really high paid coach there. Jimbo something or another.

If he stays on course with a minimum of 4 games left he should have 5,000 yds and 50tds. That’s crazy

In college football, all games count stat wise, “post season“ or not.

Joe could reasonably hit the 5500 mark if he plays 5 more games

I was thinking going into last night that he would have a hard time getting the record because we'd probably put up so many points on these three teams, early, that he'd exit early and that would cost him the chance at the record. Especially against Ole Miss and Arkansas.

Well, the points thing happened last night, but because the other side of the ball took the day off, Joe now got the huge number he needed to have a chance going into these last two games. I think he absolutely gets it now. And he deserves it. It's the best season from any QB I've ever seen at the collegiate level.

Edit- Of course, I forgot they count postseason stats. But I'd rather he took the record in the regular season, that way he takes it legitimately. Then he can just pile on from there.

Question is...

Will he get it in one game or two?

I know it prolly won't happen but I hope he breaks the record this Saturday vs Arky. Both the single game record and the SEC record.

Can't take his foot off the gas. Jalen Hurts is right behind him.

That was not always the case.

He might get it against Arkansas. They are that bad.
