Joe Burrow has a lot in common with Will Wade

Both have generated huge fan hype, but it is all big talk at this point (and not big talk from Burrows, obviously, but from the fans).
We have no clue whether Joe Burrows will be a star QB in LSU's system.
We have no clue whether he will come to LSU other than some "followings" on social media sites.

Wade has done a good job objectively. Nothing is "phenomenal" about being in the NIT.
I'm simply pointing out that the hype machine went into full swing over Wade, and now it is in full swing over Burrow. Everyone needs to calm down. Burrow would seem to be a nice edition, but that is about it.

If there are any "trolls," it is those who act as if LSU would have a five star super QB who will complete every pass and score 10 TD's a game.
Burrow might be a good addition to the program, but he is not going to be the savior.

Top recruiting class, has a team that literally couldn’t play defense last season playing good defense and playing hard, staged a complete culture turnaround in 1 season, has gotten virtually every transfer that he’s wanted, took a team from 2-16 in the SEC to the postseason, and has handled the media wonderfully and has the pundits taking LSU basketball seriously again.

Wade does seem to have the basketball program on track. But, lets see what he does this coming season. If I had to bet, I'd say LSU will have an excellent season. But, as of right now, his "accomplishments" are mostly hype (except for the recruiting class).

2 SEC wins last year, dude. 2. His "accomplishments" include having a team playing basketball at an SEC type level and competing on the floor. They weren't perfect, but they were sooooo much better than last year. Johnny Jones was/is a garbage head basketball coach. At least he was at LSU. Wade will be excellent over time.

If Coach Jones was as bad as Wade as superlative as you say, then Wade should have done better than the NIT (especially with Coach Jones kicking some butt in the big NCAA tournament).
I don't dislike Wade and I think he'll be a good coach for LSU. I think Burrow could (emphasis on "could") be a decent QB for LSU.
But, the 24/7 hype machine needs to stop. No one knows if Burrow is even coming to LSU.

Do you mean this year at Nevada as an assistant coach because he will never sniff a head coaching job again. Jones is a great LSU Tiger but unfortunately a terrible head coach!
