-Let me preface, I am not saying that Brady would or even should come back to LSU-

For all of you who want to say Joe Brady is the next coming, look at what is being said about him. Look familiar?

LINK

It is a bit uncanny how some of the same issues are present. The Panthers C is pushed back 5 years into the QB seemingly every play and Brady insists on running up the middle behind what might be the worst interior OL in the NFL. They got a safety in the 2nd Q yesterday with 3+ minutes left int he half to go and get more points and he kept calling runs up the middle. They punted and the Eagles got a FG to end the half.

Maybe Peetz is closer to Brady than we thought. People need to give E more credit for 2019, Brady is clearly not ready to run the show on offense.

E was mediocre to failure level in 10 different tries as an OC but yeah it was probably his offense in 2019

The panthers offensive roster sucks arse, and they haven’t had CMAC for weeks. Plus Darnold has been extremely better this year. This is dumb.

E had Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, Helaire, and the OL in 2018, and didn't do much with it.

Only after Brady got here in 2019 did the offense explode.

2019 was because of Brady, not E.

E was o it OC in 2018 and 2020.

We sucked both years.

The best thing to happen to E’s reputation is failing to ICE the A&M game in regulation and it going to 7 OT. Without those TDs his stats in 2018 are fricking pathetic. Worse than Canada by a mile.

Sorry I pissed off the locals, but if you cannot see it for what it is, I cannot help you.

Brady deserves all the credit in the world for 2019, but it was so clearly NOT HIS OFFENSE. He may have brought a lot to the table, but he did not call the offense during the games. It was the combination of him and Ensminger that worked so well.

If you would actually watch any Panthers games over the past 2 years, you'd see his deficiencies, he has good plays and concepts, but his rhythm in calling a whole game is not good. He is just a more advanced version of Peetz.

IF 0 would know what he was doing, he could have seen this and known Peetz was not the answer at OC, but he just wants the "Joe Brady Offense".

Brady was so overhyped because of that LSU team. He wasn’t even the offensive coordinator or called any plays there.

His offense is way too complex for an average or even pretty good college QB. You need to be an NFL level or a freaking stone cold 5th year cyborg like Burrow to optimize the flooding and underneath choice routes that Brady's offense demands when adjusting throughout the game. A QB in Brady's offense needs a shiteload of intangibles to really make it tick. Brady being the HC would be a 2 to 3 year project with a Walker Howard type before it turns over on all 8 cylinders. And then the kid bolts 1st round after 3 yrs removed and here we go again.

Not entirely true. Offense started running 5 man protections after the Alabama game and you saw a glimpse of 2019 late in 2018.

So, what doesn't make sense with this? I said Brady was a key part of 2019, but did not do it alone. Without him, it doesn't go down like it did, but he wasn't the only part. He also has not shown yet that he can be "the guy" on offense.

For those who say the Panthers have no talent on offense, I beg to differ. The OL is really bad, but the WR's are very talented. RB is too, but he is out right now. Seems Brady is toast without McCaffrey.

You saw the RPOs in the UCF game. E started the transition to the spread after the 2018 Bama game. E does not get enough credit for 2019.

its not we that can't see it its you

Its the NFL, the talent is a lot more equal there, plus he's had Teddy Bridgewater and Sam Darnold and has been without CMAC for close to, if not half the time.

When you have unreal talent like LSU had in 2019 and add the right system, you get the results you saw. That doesn't mean you can just replicate those results with literally anyone.

You are kind of making my point for me- There were way more factors than just Brady in 2019 and even though he will one day be great, he has a lot to learn.

Read the tweet in the thread. He ran the same formations that led to them being so predictable the DB's jumped routes and intercepted. Also, he seems to go into a shell in the red zone and in crunch time. If you really listen to me, one point is to show that 0 does not get what made 2019 in the first place and getting back there is not Peetz doing the "Brady thing".

I am not the only Panthers fan frustrated with the play calling in the last 2 years. Brady has a lot to prove to be considered successful in the NFL.

Darnold has some back to earth. He's played Sunday like we all expected him to play.

The offense started looking good towards the end of 2018 prior to Brady’s arrival.

No it looked like shite in November.

I looked Great against fricking Rice and UCF.

We scored 0 against Alabama
24 against Arkansas who was 108th scoring defense in the country
We scored 24 in regulation against A&M.

We didn’t get better the competition got worse.

The spread between the #1 scoring offense in the NFL (Buffalo at 34.4 ppg) and #10 (Baltimore 26.2) is basically one possession. That's razor thin. And Carolina, with Darnold, is only 3 points behind that at 23 a game coming in at #16.

College might be stressful but the NFL is on another planet of stress. Those margins would make restaurant owners blush.
