The offense starts 2 seniors, 2 juniors, and no Jimbo-recruited freshman. Sternberger is a Jimbo recruited JC transfer and is a damn good one. The second team has one Jimbo-recruited player.

The defense starts 6 seniors, 2 juniors, and no Jimbo-recruited players. The second team has 1 freshman.

How is this a rebuild when he's playing all of Sumlin's players and winning (maybe) as many has Sumlin's average during his tenure? Oh, that's right, they aren't soft and don't choke games this year.

Various articles from Houston states he is "rebuilding the team's attitude."

Considering how terrible they were a year ago, anything would have looked like an improvement.

You are obsessed with trying to diminish the culture change that Jimbo is implementing at A&M.

Took a look at their defensive ranking this year compared to last and tell me he isn't doing anything.

You are obsessed with trying to fluff up Jimbo, who isn't winning anymore than Sumlin did.

you are obsessed with constantly shitting on LSU, then whining like a little bitch when getting called out on it.

I'm not trying to fluff anything. You said you see no difference in how they play in the other thread. All that shows is that you're totally ignorant, or you haven't actually watched them play.

Who is shitting on LSU? And at your claim of me whining.

Taking over a 7-5 team is definitely more of a rebuild than taking over a 9-3 team.

You’re saying that he’s playing Sumlin’s players and they aren’t playing well. Wouldn’t that indicate those players aren’t that good?

7-6 last year with 2 games within 3 points and played Bama closer than we did. If we beat aTm this weekend, Jimbo is in the exact position Sumlin was in lst year. 7-5 going into a bowl game having lost to LSU, Auburn, Moo State and the Gumps. Biggest difference, 2018 Clemson >>>> 2017 UCLA.

We get it you don’t like Jimbo, you think he isn’t a good coach, so tell us what do you think his record should have been this year? What is reasonable for a coach in year 1? Should a coach that fails to win 9,10, all of their games in year 1 me fired? Or is it because he got a 10 year deal? What’s the reasonable expectation?

Also “rebuild” is really about the program. They were considered soft he’s trying to change that as well as installing a different offense with players recruited for the old system.

Facts are facts. Jimbo is 12-10 his last two years with teams loaded with talent.

They don't like facts here, only emotional appeals. The OP is all facts, look at the responses - defect and dodge.

And near the same results as the previous 5 years.

Defense taking a step up but offense taking a step down. All even so far.

Is Jimbo trying to be more like LSU...great defense..average at best offense?

Hint - It doesn't work like that Jimbo.

I often ask myself how many say LSU is a rebuild when O loses and an elite program when he wins against Rice and Ole Miss.
