You're Jim Leonhard,

~You were born and raised in Wisconsin.

~You played football at the University of Wisconsin.

~You made $10 million over the course of a 10 year NFL career that took you to 5 cities.

~You went back home to Wisconsin and became the defensive coordinator at your alma mater.

Whats your motivation for leaving for another DC job?

So every time we see an elite coordinator at their alma mater we shouldn’t pursue? LOL it’s like assuming a hot chick has a boyfriend and you don’t pursue, effin coward

Leonhard knows that he will be the head coach of Wisconsin one day and he just needs to stay the course.

HC in waiting at Wisconsin

Knowing that, he isn’t leaving for another college coordinator role

I just wish we were as well coached as them in every aspect. They probably do more with less than anybody in the country annually.

Agreed, they are rarely out of position and extremely well coached. Will be keeping a close eye on Jim against Ohio State.

Chryst is only 54 years old. He'll be coaching for another 10 years.

Well documented, however, you do what it takes to win. Hope the want for a 4-3 isn’t Ed’s demise.

More money!

He makes $966,000 next year and we have been paying DC 2-2.5M, so there is the reason. He can go back to Wisconsin after he is DC at LSU for 5 years as head coach maybe of Wisconsin, or go elsewhere from promotions and can always retire back home.
