Jerry palm bracketology has lsu has an 11 seed

In a play-in game. That is beyond ridiculous
Update: now has us as an 8 seed. Jumping lsu 3 seed lines after one win. He basically is admitting he had lsu too low

I could be wrong but that says it was last updated at 5am on Feb 13th. Therefore it doesn’t take into account yesterday’s results.

Even without the update, pretty much everyone else had LSU as a 10 seed. Palm has had LSU about two lines lower than bracket matrix all season. It's pretty clear he's a true believer in the Will Wade is bad for cbb narrative and is, either consciously or subconsciously, docking us bc of that.

We were a 10 prior to beating UT so that is a possibility.

LSU needs to win out and try to climb to the 6 or 7 line (at worst). Otherwise, a 10 would be more preferential to avoid having to play the 1 seed 2nd round.

I would rather be a 8/9 against the 4th 1 seed than a 7/10 against the top 2 seed that feels like they deserved a 1

So as of yesterday’s bracketology, that would be playing Ohio St. instead of Villanova in your scenario. Yeah, I’d rather play Villanova over OSU; so again, give me the 7/10.
Villanova likely to move out of that position as best 2 after losing to Creighton yesterday though.

Don’t disagree; but that would take LSU kind of stumbling down the stretch to end up an 11.
As long as they keep winning, I think a 6/7 is very realistic. Win out and they should be a 7. Win out ans get a good win in SEC tourney, and then a 6 is in play.

Real question is, why has UT been on 3-5 line in most bracketologies. They've proven to be a bubble team at best since conference play. Some teams seem to get a pass where LSU is more scrutinized.

Agreed. This is what I'm hoping for. The schedule sets up very nicely for us to move up.

Auburn
@ Georgia
@ Arkansas
Vanderbilt
SEC tournament
If we can get wins at Ole Miss and at Arkansas those would be big resume builders. Then, get a win or two in the SECT. I think that would get us to the 7 seed.
