I'd like to now who your sources are redfieldk717...I happen to be kin to one of the lawyers who is representing the other guy in this case and am extremely close to Hill's lawyer. Had dinner with both of them Wednesday night, as a matter of fact. Weren't many "deals" made... The judge pretty much does as he sees fit in this instance. Deals would be made with the prosecution, not a judge...

Didn't read all 15 pages of this thread because I have a life, but none of what went on today matters if Judge Jackson revokes his probation for his previous acts. That's being said, he PLEAD TO A MISDEMEANOR today in court. Not condoning his cheapshot at all, but its still a misdemeanor. IF Judge Jackson revokes his probation over that, it will be the first time she has ever revoked probation OVER A MISDMEANOR. Lighten up people...there are people getting murdered everyday...bar fights are the least of our concerns...

but to think this kid would lose the chance to go college, play football, or go to jail over getting caught catching a bj from a some freshmen chick while he was a senior in high school, and then getting into a barfight is absolutely ridiculous

This,
I mean it certainly seems like most high and mighty assholes on here do not remember being 17-20 year old dudes, we are a collective stupid bunch ( ALL DUDES)

Lacour's never struck me as the guy who'd begrudge a high school senior for getting a blow job from a freshman.

You're right.

I took my share of them when I was a senior

The Clean Sweeping Team always works things out for LSU Athletes. Gotta protect the little Angelic Darlings.

Surely you're joking. It's because they're athletes that we even know about any of this shite.

So Verne Lundquist will mention the proceedings each quarter of each CBS broadcast of a LSU game.

The sentence for simple battery was harsh! For a non-domestic violence battery 2 years probation is unheard of! Even in St. Slammany. I don't think star football players should be favored, but, i don't think they should be treated more harshly then others.

Well said, it was a stupid stunt from a young man that will pay his dues with CLM and the rest of his teammates and coaches. This kid has a lot of talent, unfortunately none of it seems to be between his ears.

Did the judge really say this? What are the odds that Jeremy Hill has no idea who Cecil Collins is?

I'm not so sure. His first mock election in the 2nd grade was Bush v Gore. And Cecil went to jail about a year later.
