After watching the spring game I think JL has worked hard and become a much better qb If you read the advocate article you would see this
I think he's ready to start.

I used to be a big JJ fan.

i also noticed at the spring game that the WR's looked like the eitehr got extremly slow or just werent trying making all the passes look way over thrown so i doubt much can be told from the spring game...

It's like a :30 clip, you dolts!

And each and every 30 second clip I see of JJ in practice this year he is inaccurate, just like all last year and in the spring game. short, behind, long etc..never in stride, never on target, not really ever...

Everyone knows that the real passer on the team is JL....but he has confidence issues during a live game... Can he over come that?

If JL every gets the opportunity and has success, LSU football will be fun and legit again..

JJ is 8-5 all day long...based on all the practice videos I can see, he just doesn't impress me..His mechanics are too long and thus inaccurate...Look at Marino's release if you want to see what it should look like..

I am usually very optimistic and positive, but JJ just isn't very good passing the football. We can't run the option, so why does he start? I really want to understand... I can't see development at all other than he looks bigger and stronger

I think he starts because he can escape trouble much better than JL...He certainly isn't starting because he has a stronger or more accurate arm.

JL is the best chance we got...we must have a legit deep ball threat..otherwise, teams will fill the box

Somebody didn't watch very much football last year. If you have Cox go to On Demand and watch the highlights of the Ole Miss game. Kid made some incredible throws.

As for most of your other idiotic comments. No college QB has the throwing motion of Marino. He'll, most NFL QBs don't either. And if you look at JJ's stats he was actually a pretty good passer last year.

and if you also check the games last year we were ahead in the 4th qtr for all games but 1 so all that means is we didnt finish the game not so much that they were worthless

Wow, big difference. And that's just the honest, objective truth.

I watched a lot of football..more than most..I love CFB...what do you see that every expert analysis doesn't see?

JJ took a lot of sacks..didn't make but one complete further than 30 yards all season long.. I can complete passes in the flats and to the TE.. Oh wait, we don't throw to the TE..scratch that comment.. :)

I think he has great size and talent, but he just doesn't make it happen on the field.. I saw the potential his freshman year...Well, 2 years later and the back up still looks better in practice

Last season the play calling was terrible, the OL could not block and JJ can't make throws during the game. 112 th in offense...As LSU's QB, you have to own that crap..I mean seriously...you can post percentage completion stats all night, but the biggest stats is total offense. LSU was almost dead last in America, How does that happen? Answer, bad QB play..bad OL, Bad play calling, bad execution?

The spring game JJ looked awful...and thus, every expert in the nation has dropped us way down in the top 25...

We are what we are,,a talented team with a big problem at the wheel of the offense..

JL has always looked good at practice but its totally different when you are able to get hit. He has shown time and time again that he will crack under pressure. JL lacks heart

watching JL throw off his back foot avoiding a sack was hideous and disheartening to watch must i remind everyone of the hideous pass out of bounds trying to avoid a hit against alabama that J. Lee made. May the best man win but making all these bold statements off of a 30 second clip is ridiculous.

Naturally... but that was the one throw where I figured tards were attacking JJ for his accuracy.

If you're serious, you definitely lack a brain. Of all the negative statements about Lee, this one is new to me. Of all his struggles in '08 and La Tech, his heart is the one constant. frick you.

I agree. He looked terrified in both 09 Bama and LA Tech games. I have no clue why people start these threads. I don't know of any D1 school that Lee would start at. Also Jefferson stats are so much better than Lee's stats, to even compare the two is quite comical.

If that were true, wouldn't we go 9-4 again or at least close to that.
