I’m trying to not be a homer on this one but man Daniels is playing at high level, and doing it in the toughest conference in country. Looking at his stats he’s thrown for 1994 yds 14 tds with 69% completion percentage, while rushing for 619 yds and 10 tds.

Looking at Strouds stats (who some consider front runner) he’s thrown for 2453 yds 29 tds with 67% completion percentage.

Not saying Jayden is leading the race, just think he deserves to be mentioned when comes to talks about Heisman.

That OT touchdown run was as good of a Heisman moment as I’ve ever seen.

If he averages 250 and 100 over the next 3 games and can get close to 40 TDs then he'll go to Atlanta with a chance to earn a trip to New York

Bruce Feldman posted a tweet about it last night

Jayden Daniels and Bo Nix both making strong arguments to get invited to the Heisman ceremony this year in remarkable second acts, going from the Pac-12 to the SEC and the SEC to the Pac-12.

You typically aren’t in that conversation unless you are a serious contender for the CFP which LSU wasn’t until about 14 hours ago. IF Daniels has a few great games and LSU wins out, it’s possible he could get an invite. But it’s a little early in my opinion.

I completely agree! He’s got to be a finalist if he finishes with those numbers!

Honestly it’s so political, people are number happy, but if it was truly for the best player that makes the biggest impact, Jayden should be in New York at the very least.

It should be Stetson Bennett, but Jayden will get some traction if he has 12 more tds this year.

JD5 didn’t lose the FSU game, the special team did.

-The bullet down the sideline to Nabers
-The 4th quarter run for 31 yds
-The TD throw to Taylor
-The OT TD run on his first play
-The 2 point conversion

Dude had an entire season of Heisman moments in about 10 minutes worth of game time

I really hope his advisors choose for him to come back next year for everything that’ll be available to him. As opposed to trying to land a practice squad spot after drafted inn2nd round. We’ll see

Bo Nix is a “Heisman contender”. BO NIX! let that sink in.

We all know he’s not a good QB but since going to the PAC12 where they just put any leftover players they can find out there on what they call “defense”, he is lighting it up.

Yeah there is no reason JD shouldn’t be in the discussion.

If LSU wins out, he at least should get an invite. But after this week, I'd put money on Stroud. (If the odds were better).

This. An entire offseason of highlights from that game, an extra spring in the program under CBK, a better-meshed team with a more productive offense from the start instead of 6 weeks into the season. He's going to be talked about from the preseason polls on about being a HT candidate.

He put on a clinic last night, and did it against Bama for the whole world to see! Other than Burrow I don’t know if I’ve seen a player progress as fast as Daniels.

I’m not telling you he’s the next Joe Burrow, but Stetson is managing the heck out of that offense.

I love where our team is headed and the trajectory of Jayden too. Just trying to be honest here, Stetson is the Heisman favorite at this point.
