Jay Ward affects the hell out of kicks coming off the edge.

Go look at the jump he got at the end. Would not surprise me at all if that caused McPherson to rush a tick and pull that kick.

I think the young man deserves a lot of praise for his efforts last night. Heads up play intercepting the ball and Im convinced his aggressiveness forced the Florida kicker to rush the kick ultimately missing the kick.

He looks like a different player since the miss st week. He went from injury no dress, to starting nickel cb due to stingley incident, and was physically not okay to play. Kids got guts for doing that at all, since by the 4th qtr he was dragging his leg around.
He has gotten better each game, and played great last night. He is really great off those edges for sure

Yeah, I mentioned this last night. I grew up watching Ed Reed in blocking kicks at will in HS and on and Ward has a little of that in him. We need to let him loose on some punt blocks too.

The Florida kicker never saw him, and still has no idea it was even close.
