Why Paul felt it was necessary to trot out a line up that averaged 5’9 165 is beyond me. It’s like he used little sweet as his template for the ideal baseball player. It was embarrassing.

The long ball was essentially removed from the game with dead bats and balls for the majority of his time at LSU. The sport was suffering, too. I love watching these boys hit 460' dingers off scoreboards again.

Funny how some of the best players of Paul's tenure were 6'0 and under, size wasn't the issue.

Duplantis
Walker
Smith
Kramer
Freeman
Fraley, Foster, Stevenson, Breggman were all 6'0

Yep, the revisionist history is great. The 2017 team that went to the finals had freeman and kramer on it, both at the top of the order

2013 is why. Go watch how many balls we had die at the track. Paul went small ball after that year.

I didn't agree with it but he's openly talked about changing his philosophy after that year

Next week this time, LSU loses a midweek game to a nobody.

Same person "Why did we hire this moron?"

That must be why he got commitments from guys like Jobert, Jones, Frey, and Kling.
