I think we know why Samson left. We will have a really good 3 guard rotation with
Waters, Mays and Smart

Sampson played the 3 though, those guys will stick to 1 and 2.

Thanks for posting this. There has been at least one poster in the past questioning Smart's ability to hit the three.

Next year will be really exciting. I've already renewed my season tickets and hope that a lot of new season tickets are sold.

Emmitt Williams is a true 4 with a 3's height at this point. Has not proven he can shoot really at all. Great athlete and plays insanely well above the rim.

If Emmitt can develop a deadly mid-range jumper and a decent 3 point shot, he'll be unstoppable.

Not sure what Days' shot looks like, hopefully he can be consistent from mid-range and pull up from 3 when it's open.

Neither is a 3 right now, but Days is a lot closer than Williams. Williams a true power 4. Days can shoot the 3 and handle the ball OK, but not like a 3 really would. Williams is all about living at the rim.

Naz Reid is a truer 3 than both of them, he can shoot, handle the ball with ease etc...but he will play the 4 and 5 here because we'll need more help there.

Sampson (if he’d bought in)would be a very big contributor to this team at the 3 next year. To expect freshmen to carry you at that position very rarely works out as you’d like.
