Per basketball rantards Wade can't coach and Smart and Watford are bad and lazy. It's amazing the team somehow manages to win.

I do not understand why so many poster s*** on Javonte smart, especially when the team is winning. If you read the post in various player related threads and did not know the scores in the last three games, you would think that LSU lost.

its almost funny how stupid some rantards prove to be. I get watching a game and being like damn his play irks me, but they keep on with shite like smart sucks even after the stats smack them in the face.

There were actually posters in the off season wishing he wouldn’t return for his junior year

Really wish some of these morons would just stick to watching football.

As frustrating as his play is sometimes, Javonte consistently comes through when we need. Dude has icy viens.

I knew he had it in him his first couple games as a Tiger. He has that natural shot that you just can't teach.

It’s fairly unique. It almost looks forced but he’s certainly a shooter. Like to me, Days’ shot is much prettier and looks more coached.

There one and only defense is that when Smart makes a mistake it is usually a really boneheaded and unnecessary decision that leads to said mistake but overall there is more good than bad in his game.

Smart is a better shooter when he is shooting off the dribble. I am more comfortable with him shooting when he is doing his dribble at the top of the key thing than in a catch and shoot situation.

Consistent guard play, points we can count on from outside is so important to this team’s playoff run.

I don’t think smart is very good at basketball. He’s way too sporadic with the ball and makes horrible decisions

As of last night, he was in the top 10 in the SEC in scoring and assist-to-turnover ratio, and in the top 5 for FG %, 3-point% and assists.

Last year he led the SEC in assists-to-turnover ratio and he has averaged double digits in every season he has played at LSU. The biggest game of his career was as a freshman when Waters was out and he led LSU to victory against highly-ranked Tennessee which basically won the SEC for us. It seems you don't know that much about basketball.

He is having a hell of a year and has made big shots when we need him. Don't get the hate on here.

Never really "hated" on him, I just thought there were always better options at handling the point. He has never been good at beating a full court press.

This year he has been a clutch shooter but plays very unselfishly.
