Lee is a worse passer than Jefferson. How can anyone argue that?
Jefferson's problems are easier to fix and improve than Lee's. Let it go people and get behind Jefferson because he's your starting QB this football season barring injury. When Jefferson has a good year I hope all of you jump off the bandwagon because it wasn't the great white hype behind center.

What I learned from the video is that Reuben Randle is going to be incredible. I actually already suspected that, but this video reinforces it.

To the point of the thread, JJ>JL, but with that said, to this point, JL has thrown one of the best passes I have ever seen to Mitchell in '08. Problem is, he also threw the absolute WORST pass I have ever seen earlier that same game.

thats the only way I can reason with someone thinking that Lee is the better man for the job based on what they've actually done in games. There is no other reason for anyone to claim so far that he is better than Jefferson.

Try this reason on. The ONLY games that JLee lost were to top ranked Fla, Ga, and Bama
JJ lost to unranked Arky and Ole Miss, along with ranked Fla, and Penn St
LSU should never lose to unranked opponents, if they want to be respected

try this on... its a team fricking game. Thats how you judge wins and losses
Look at their respective numbers son. THAT'S HOW YOU JUDGE INDIVIDUAL PERFORMANCES. And JJ's numbers are better. One gameday Lee shits the bed. He can't hit the guys in the right colors. Against Louisiana Tech he was SEVEN FOR TWENTY TWO. That was his last start. That sounds good to you?

He hadnt played for an entire year. We won.
How about 96 yards passing when you've trailed the whole game? That sounds good to you? 96 yds?? Why even have a QB?

I never said JL should start. I said we shouldn't just dismiss him.

no that wasn't good but his last start was decent and he made some good plays vs. Ole Miss and Arkansas towards the end of the year. Lee gives you zero opportunity because he consistently gives up points. Jefferson just needs an o-line he can trust and that kid will be fine. He's going to throw for around 21TD/9INTs so just calm the frick down and let Lee pull splinters out of his arse by himself. The guy wasn't meant for the big lights.

Thats LSU delusions
Here is reality
quote:
Florida LB Ryan Stamper
On the play of the defensive line ...
“I just think we did a great job covering. Their quarterback wants to run the ball a lot and we noticed that. If we got good pressure on them we knew he would want to run the ball a lot, so we knew that we would get a lot of chances to sack him.”
Every team knows how to defend him, and without miracles against Ga, Arky, Moo St, and a Cutrera pick6 vs Wash, most would have beat him.
Posted on 7/27/10 at 2:33 am to RobbBobb
he likes to run the ball?
dude don't be fricking foolish. do you even watch the games? Do you understand what you're looking at? He had a shitty o-line and thats never good for a QB who held the ball too long. And why are you holding a first year starter to some standard that he should have thrown for 25TDs or some shite? You don't think this guy is working to get better? Do you think he's too stupid to get better?

You are f'kin disgrace for a fan. Unbelievable. Bet you are one of those types that hopes the team fails when your fav isn't in the game. Enough of this shite.

That's a really detailed response from the president of the fan club. You usually at least copy and paste your statistics that show his great completion percentage, and fail to account for the uncertainty, the ducking and tucking if the primary was covered, the retreating into sacks 9-11 yards deep from DE's that had actually been pushed past the pocket, just in general the complete confusion he displayed a majority of the time. Whether that is because he's not very good, or Crowton caused his confusion or he was only 19, it was painful to watch. If the pick sixes were like being stabbed, then watching last year was like being choked to death slowly.
Look, if forced to vote, I would choose (c) other, but we don't have that choice, and the point was, with the talent we have with our three wideouts and TE, so far, Lee at least shows more ability (willingness?) to throw downfield. It is actually something he does pretty well.

JL and JJ didn't win/lose those games....LSU did.
IF JJ had the o-line and running game that JL had in '08...LSU wins 11 games last year, IMO. In 2008, Scott had just as many TDs as Lee and Jefferson combined.
It's like y'all didn't even watch the games that Lee played in. He's a great kid and i admire the hell out of him for sticking it out....but he's not the best QB on the team...sorry.
