His resume is much better than Boutte’s. I know people hate the number tradition but 7 is supposed to be a leader and Jaray is way more deserving.

- Member of the GOAT CFB team and national champion
- Worked his arse off to move up the depth chart
- Multiple game winning TDs and should have added another last night if we knew how to block

vs
- One good game in a meaningless W over Ole Miss
- Threatens to transfer to Bama
- Pouts and plays disinterested in our opening game

They need to get rid of that shite all together. It supposedly goes to the best player from Louisiana. Who's to say that won't be another diva down the road.

The jersey tradition shite needs to die. It's a curse.

They should strip that from Boutte immediately and give it to a player who plays with heart. It's a shame you can't trade players in college, kid is a cancer to this team.

They should just retire #7 and never let anyone else wear it.

Kelly publicly called his arse out and he responded in a big way.

My opinion also and has been from the time people started making it a thing.

That's not right.

Patrick Peterson is from Florida
Jonathan Giles from Texas
JaCoby Stevens from Tennessee

Kelly decided this spring to turn it into a Louisiana thing since there is already the #18. That’s the plan going forward.

7 needs to go away. Whoever gets that number is almost always a disappointment.

#7 did not look good last night. At least #18 played like he really cared about the game.

The greats that wore #7 weren’t given #7. It’s a number they naturally wore. People who wear the #7 have a certain personality and wear it on their own. Quit forcing it to some guy on the team.

They should take #7 away from Boutte until he proves he wants to be here.

Jenkins played very well, one of the few who did.

I feel pretty good about the WRs even with Boutte having the drops. Malik caught some fastballs at close range on that last drive too, including one way behind him.
