Nope, LSU has too much 5-star talent on the field already.

It wont be that difference from what he was doing playing in the peso. He was asked to cover the flat or blitz when he was put into the quarter position.

I could see this actually helping us out tremendously utilizing his athletic ability in blitzes and cover the tight end or H-back on seam and wheel routes.

I suspect it’s really a way to have him play Nickel but also keep him on the field in run support without needing to change personnel.

He'll be our best drop LB since Dunson.

Thompson who was a career backup safety had a lot of success there last year

He is listed at 225.

I see Thing being successful.

Just hope he stick somewhere. He’ll jever be good at anything changing positions weekly.

You might be onto something here Bmath. I'm sure they will want to run tempo to keep us from sub'ing. Maybe having a guy that can drop in coverage and help at LB on the run might be the thought here.

Deion Jones was 225
Duke Riley was 220

He's big enough to play LB, it's if he has the vision and instincts to play it, and i think he will succeed there.

Yes. On 3rd down conversions as a pass rusher on the outside. Good 5 star player with good instincts.

It's no Trindon Holliday at DE type of fit, but it's close.

Great fit. He put on some weight and can play realistically anywhere on the field. If they want him in coverage, or if they need him on a blitz.

I think it's more about the the possibilities of what we can do with him on the field, he can play safety, or linebacker, and it opens up all kinds of blitzes and coverages..

He's a great fit at Linebacker.

Better than good. Aranda can line him up and disguise him as a safety/nickel/OLB.

Name the 5 stars. It amazes me how many kids were once five stars.

He's big/strong enough to be able to help in the run game if needed, And versatile/fast enough to really help on passing downs. In my opinion I think it's a great move.

I think he was being sarcastic

It's a good way to get this 5 star talent on the field in situations where we can get a favorable matchup for the defense
