Jabril Cox scored , Arkansas tight end did not

There were two similar plays, one for each team. Jabril Cox scored on his interception. As long as they did not call him out at the three there is no way he did not extend the ball into the end zone as he was tackled.
The Arkansas tight end stepped on the pylon with his left foot, but stepped out with his right foot and the ball clearly in his right hand a yard short of the end zone.

Be thankful cox didnt fumble for a touchback. It was pretty close.

Yeah it was super close. Thought they were gonna say it was

I actually thought that's what they were reviewing. Touchback was closer than td.

I felt like they could have called targeting on the UA player who initiated the hit. Looked like it was helmet to helmet and the UA player lowered his head.

Watch the replay, Felipe Franks also launches crown of the helmet first into Cox’s back.
It would be hilarious to eject the QB for targeting !

Jabril Cox wasnt even fricking close to crossing the plane with the ball in his hands. Wtf are some of you watching out there? Im astounded by this post

Cox landed on the pylon with the ball extended . The last clear camera view shown was his foot near the sideline at the three yard line. Once the play was reviewed LSU was given the ball on the one yard line. There was no video shown which placed him out of bounds between the three and the goal. If there was video to support the call it was never shown on the telecast.

TDP scored on that wheel route.
Arkansas player shouldn’t have been called for targeting that drive either. Two botched, significant calls.

While we are at it....TDP scored that TD as well

Yes, overall, this game was poorly officiated, with several botched calls.

Neither of the ejections should have happened IMO.

Instant replay "officials" are as bad as the dunces on the field.

That was one of those plays that could have gone either way depending on the original call because the replay was insufficient to overturn. If he had been called in for the TD it would have stood.
The Emery fumble-no fumble was not as clear as Stinkcomb made it sound. Replay made looked to me like Emery got it back and the Hog took it out when the ref started breaking them up. Emery definitely fumbled but the replay said no clear recovery which kinda surprises me on a play like that where the refs on the field called it for Ark.

And be thankful that he was able to get his hands on the ball to intercept it because the receiver was WIDE open and would still be running if not.

If he had not stepped out, this would have been the outcome

He lost the ball after it crossed the goal line. And man, yes that would have been hilarious to see targeting on Franks.

Considering he knocked the pylon over, I'm going to say it was closer than "not even fricking close". It was hard to tell much of anything due to how many players were bunched up and blocking the camera angles they were showing.

Franksarm was down before he scored a touchdown
