Questions: for all the people that think that an average to below average o line coupled with an elite dual threat qb is the answer....
Why would an elite dual threat qb risk his career knowing he will be asked to evade Bama’s elite pass rushers and improvise an offense by extending plays?
Which is harder to find and recruit...an elite dual threat qb or elite offensive linemen?

I don't know that we could have won against bama with this line but I think we could have moved the ball and scored with a better scheme. A good coordinator can change his plan to adapt to his players.

I see your point, but it is absolutely asinine to continue to call slow developing plays (including play action) when your line is suspect. You HAVE to find a way to call better plays that they can execute while taking some pressure off the QB.
And NO, the answer is not "max-protect" this line has proven all year that loading the box with rushers is not the answer.
