It's nice to win when only getting 5 hits and 2 runs

Marceaux and Labas have deserved a few more wins all season.

Nice to be able to hold the lead in a close game.

This was the first SEC game with 5 or less hits and 4 or less runs scored that the Tigers have won (1 win and 10 losses).

It's crazy that he pitched a shutout or one run game and it was the most hits hes ever given up in a start.

Stat repeated on the radio, tonight was the first time since 1942 that LSU gave up 13 hits but only allowed 1 run.

It's even nicer to win when allowing 13 hits and only giving up 1 run! That must be some kind of record for LSU baseball.

If you throw in the 2 hit batters and the 2 walks, Alabama had 17 baserunners and only 1 scored. Unreal.

This game was all about Marceaux dragging his nuts all across the state of Alabama.

Marceaux pitched a hell of a game, glad he was able to get a nice standing ovation in his last game at Alex Box.

More like 80 years. BTW, in 1942, The Aggots were only 3 years removed from their last national championship in football lol.

Alabama hit a very good Marceaux. Labas needs to mix it up the entire game to be successful because they can hit FB and sit on the breaking ball. They can hit. Open the game with a slider or change.

It wouldn’t surprise me if Hilliard doesn’t have the best performance of the 3 starters if he is on. There are breaking pitches and then there is what he does.
