Man I am just looking to 2021 at this point. Why wait this long? Is there anything going on within the team for him to change his mind. Like four weeks ago he was tweeting against canceling the season.

Yes, he told us 2-3 weeks ago he was playing. Really frustrating

This has nothing to do with Covid. It has everything to do with Ryan Clark and his social justice war.

Why do y’all always feel entitled to throw dirt on a young man’s name? He left to focus on his future get over it

Seems like he had contact with an Agent and would possible be ruled ineligible...so opts out.

Timing is very odd

False. LSU can get him up to a 10 million dollar insurance policy

At this point bring on 2021. 2020 is a wash in my book. Dang man how are you going to opt out now?

I remember a time when fans would be upset at a Junior for sitting out a meaningless exhibition bowl game...now they are sitting out there whole Junior year.

If Chase's stock doesn't drop because of this...it will become the new norm for 1st round talent.

He's not making this decision alone.

You can't spend an insurance policy unless you fulfill the clause.

And then O hurt his feelings and Ryan Clark slid in his DMs.

Moral of this story. Don't believe shite that comes out of a players mouth nor his families!

I kind of feel the same about the “he’s securing his future” view. If that was the case, his decision would have been made months ago.

He also accepted a scholarship, agreeing to play at least 3 years. He’s not opting out due to COVID. This is not acceptable. It’s a bad precedent.

Next man up but it's a huge blow. He's a top 5 player nationally. Would've been a dependable target for Myles. I feel for Myles.
