It was a great game ONLY if you were an A&M fan or neutral fan

It was not a great game if you are a true LSU Tiger fan. I will never watch a replay of the game because we lost. For every Tiger fan saying it was "a great game", you don't bleed purple and gold. We are upset because we had numerous chances to win and the refs were pitiful and didn't help. If LSU would have won, it would have been one of the best games in LSU's football history. Great game for others...... not LSU.

Winning and losing totally changes our opinions on this game.

Had we won, I would definitely watch it.. because I was so proud they kept fighting.

It's heartbreaking because it felt like LSU was going to win despite the officiating.. despite bad breaks.. despite questionable playcalling at times.. It felt like we had won multiple times in the game and relief was coming.. but time and time again it just kept extending.. I hate the way this game made me feel inside.. I don't care to watch it knowing what happened. Maybe one day.

I disagree. I was there. I bleed purple and gold and while the outcome sucked bad, it was one of the greatest games I have seen in person. Lots of blown calls but coaches played it conservative. We had our chances to end the game multiple times. It wasn’t all on the officials.

When you've built a solid program, there's gonna be these games. I mean.. for every two or three "Bluegrass Miracle's", sometimes you gotta throw in something like what happened Saturday night.

The blade of 1/9/12 still cuts though. Even 6 1/2 years later :(

I didn't say it was.

If we won it would have just been a normal regular season nail biter. The game should have never gone to over time. The game (if called correctly) would have been over on the spike play. There was an obvious illegal formation, that if called would have drained 10 secs off the clock (3 secs left at start of play) and game over tigers win.

Forget 1/9/12. That was inevitable once the REAL blade that cuts deep was inflicted...

Those officials should never be allowed within a mile a football field for the rest of the lives. Their asses should be exiled to a soccer playing country for a couple of years.

It wasn’t a great game for anyone including Aggie fans that want to be honest with themselves.

The officials tainted the ending. End of story.

That game was excruciating to watch. I may have PTSD from it.

I’m sorry but I keep hearing the coaches played too conservative. I don’t give a good shite what they had done we were not gonna win. That game was decided before it began. LSU won the games 3 consecutive times in that game only to have it changed by the refs. If we were to have scored a TD when they scored a field goal in OT I can guarantee you the refs would have called it back on something maybe holding. The fact is the game was rigged and the Tigers played much better than they expected which led to the obvious cheating that was displayed. You can expect all the games in the SEC to be set this way. They have been doing this for a while. It wasn’t this game only just look at the controversy this year on the refs. This game really brought it out in the open and if the teams in the SEC don’t come together to stop this there will never be a fair game called again. Sorry if this was too long.
