It is still a competition at QB

Based on what has been going around, I'd think it's safe to say Daniels is in the lead.. for now, but I think Nuss still has time to get the job. (He missed reps early last week due to a tweaked ankle)

Here's what BK said about the QB competition after Saturday:

I always felt like our quarterbacks need to protect themselves. Today was about third down. They have to know the protections.. get us in the right protections and convert on third down. Just as defenses have to get off the field on third down, you have to keep the chains moving. So today was a big day on understanding the protections, knowing how to protect yourself, and getting the ball out. This is a day where you get some separation.. days like today, quarterbacks start separating themselves. We'll see some more separation when we get into the red zone where you need to throw touchdowns.. and accuracy. I take that Daniels was the best during the 3rd down periods, but as BK said they've still got to work on the red zone & other situations this week so "they can start to separate".

I think Nussmeier is still very much in the competition for the starting job. I'm extremely confident that whichever one starts against Florida State will be the best man for the job.
