It is obvious that fans still aren't over 1/9/2012...

Even now almost 8 years later. Instead of rejoicing the Bama win and focusing on the rest of the season fans are driving themselves crazy wondering if and how Bama gets in the CFP and if LSU wins a potential rematch. The sting of 1/9 must still be fresh for our fans to be so intimidated by a team we just beat in THEIR stadium.

It’s reasonable for fans to speculate over such a situation because it has happened before and the rematch benefits them much more than it benefits us.

I’m pissed because it’s bullshite favoritism. I welcome the rematch because it will go even better next time, IMO.

Hell no I'm not over it.

It's hard to beat a team twice. Especially a well coached capable team that gets to rest and prepare while we grind it out against the top contender in the SEC East.

It’s mainly because LSU wouldn’t get a rematch but Alabama gets one without a second thought.

Well beating Saban is hard enough one time a year. I don't think it has to do with that game. Just the idea of playing them again is what's on everyone's mind. I don't want Bama again.

It renders a great game and win irrelevant. On their field. Such bullshite.

No fan will ever get over that.

And no fan wants to experience it again in a month and half.

If you're worried about losing the game, yeah.

I didn't see anything Saturday that would give me pause about facing them again if need be.

I am not scared of a rematch. I am incensed at Alabama's sense of entitlement and sports media's enabling of it. We wouldnt be having this conversation about a one loss Oklahoma or Clemson with no chance of winning their conferene.

Tua will be able to run by then and we only beat them by 5 pts. Bama dropped at least 1 TD pass.

Bama will have rested with Western Carolina and another week off.

From now on, if a team gets beat at home in November, they should be skipped over for playoff contention.

Exactly. We have nothing to gain. They have everything. If they win, it will be like Saturday never happened. You’ll hear shite like “order restored” and “Bama won the game that really mattered”, just like we heard after 1/9/12.

I can’t think of a more horrible way to end such a magical season. The bottom line is that Bama doesn’t deserve the mulligan. Keep in mind that it would be the 3rd time they’ve done it. Can you think of any other team that would be afforded such a chance? We sure as hell wouldn’t.

oh you mean the year a team that should have been disqualified for not being good enough to qualify for the EC title game was given a seat at the table for a NC even though by no existing metric they qualified for?

this after the unquestionably biased calls rigged the game fore them the first time yet we still beat them only to have less miles not even try to compete and didnt even prepare for the rematch game and basically forfeited it by telling his team "just do the same game plan we used the last time, we are doing nothing new this time"

ya i think LSU fans havent forgotten that
