Can we all agree that the 2016 coaching changes, the lack of hires and the not popular hire (with me included) has worked out for LSU?

Geaux Tigers. We’re here. Congratulations Coach Orgeron, staff and all of the players.

If there are any sonsabitches on here still in doubt, they need to find a new team and complain about them.

I think we can all agree that Les Miles is a miserable coach who made LSU football not fun to watch.

It literally does not get ANY better than this season. By definition, we could not have asked for any more than what they all gave us fans this year.

Coach O was the right hire. He made moves that resulted in the program achieving the ultimate goal with the ideal road there - undefeated by DOMINATING almost every single opponent.

Anyone still not completely satisfied this morning needs to move on and stop rooting for LSU because they don’t belong in purple and gold.

Coach O is what we needed, we just didn’t realize he was what we wanted until now.

I hated the hire, mainly because I thought it was a give up. Nothing against Coach O but I thought ADJA did a horrific job with a 3 coach search. I ranted and raved for 24 hours then gave him my full support, even though I was cautious.

Amazing job of recruiting, surrounding yourself with great assistants, and letting them coach in game. His passion for this state and great university is infectious with everyone he reaches. Could not ask for a better representative.

I was dead wrong and this crow is delicious!!

I mean there is actually zero to complain about, an interesting time on the rant. I'm elated and so happy O turned it around. What a tremendous job O, the staff and this team have done.

If you're bringing former coaching into the conversation, then absolutely not.

The Miles-related posts this off-season will be pretty rough, IMHO.

Only took the greatest season in college football history and I'm sure the negatigers will still find something to cry about.

I doubted the hire of O, he has proven my initial thoughts to be incorrect.

I will be happy if LSU becomes the breeding ground for top assistant coaches to other programs or the NFL.

What an amazing season!

Lots of posters were sour on early signing day with the staff. I for one trust the coaches' decisions.

What a shitty, useless thing to post the day after LSU wins a National Championship.

I think after we beat Bama at Bama...most everyone was united. Even if we lost this game...I was completely satisfied with our year and the program. This style of football is so fun and has brought many casual fans on board also.

Everything worked out. I was initially on the "I hope O succeeds because he fits LSU perfectly, but I don't think he will let his coaches coach" train. I've never been more happy to be wrong. A natty with Coach O at the helm just feels right. Plus I don't see how any Louisiana kid leaves the state now. Coach O has done an amazing job of making this about the whole state as opposed to just Southern Louisiana. It's a beautiful Tuesday
