Is this year really just the 2018 recruiting class coming back to bite us?

And if so, are we stacked the next few years since we had/ have stellar classes out of 19, 20, and 21?
The way I see it, and I know the rant will be happy to correct me if I’m wrong, with the right game-changing offensive coordinator, we could/should be playing for titles again in the next few years.

Partially the 2018 class, partially the craziness that is 2020/ Covid.
Also, I'd say DC is a bigger concern than OC.

The 2018 class isn't the sole reason, but it sure isn't helping

I think It’s a big part of it.
A lot of our player issues are that there isn’t much left of the 2017 and 2018 classes.
I think There are coaching issues too.

Indeed. Not saying our future teams will be better than 2019, but in terms of recruiting rankings, they will be more talented.
It's all gonna depend on if some of these QB's pan out and if we can get more competent on defense. (I personally am not worried with the offense's struggles because I think that boils down to true freshman mistakes at the QB position).

It is always about recruiting and don't ever let anything else distract you. All these talks about coaching is total BS, just ask Saban.

You have to have both. Check the difference between LSU in 2018 and 2019 with a very similar roster.

I disagree. I see less blown coverages now than I saw in the beginning of the year, but I see an offense that seems to be regressing each week.
