Always remember it being September. Hope we are ready for Georgia Southern and are not overlooking them for Texas.

Football is almost here!

Appalachian State 2008 was the hottest game in Tiger Stadium history. That was brutal.

We were begging for the hurricane to come at that point

Couldn’t imagine if they had kept the later kick off before it was moved up.

After research, the TAMU games I remember in ‘87 that was so hot was in Sept. perhaps the hottest game I’ve attended was at kyle field. It was astro turf from what I remember.

Sometimes the Saturday before Labor Day is still August, it’s not unusual.

Virginia Tech 02 was on a Sunday 9/1.
ULM 03 was on 8/30.
State 07 was on 8/30 because it was the Thursday season kickoff on ESPN.

That Monday night Tennessee game I believe the humidity was around 784%

I was there. Tigers won 17-3. It was hot that day, but it was hotter 4 years later when we got absolutely destroyed by A & M (maybe Curly's first year?). That day at Kyle Field felt like the hottest place I have ever been in my life (and that includes Vegas in August).

Perhaps I felt this way bc we were absolutely embarrassed on the field.

I was at that game and agree--it was brutally hot. 10AM kickoff was because of the impending hurricane headed toward Louisiana. After the game, I left and was on the phone with United to change my flight (I had a Wednesday flight back). I lucked out and got a Sunday early afternoon flight back to Denver. The NO airport closed an hour after my flight left and didn't reopen until the late that week. I got lucky!

One of them was something like 117 on the field.
I was there for that arse whipping as well. That series got ugly.
