Is this the biggest AP and Coaches Poll jump...

For a team in history of polling after week 1? Obviously your gonna get the most movement usually after the first week but 14 spots in AP??

Mississippi State went from unranked to #1 in three weeks in 2014.
Coincidentally they jumped from unranked to #11 after beating #8 LSU.

The media rides "narrative momentum".
All offseason the narrative that LSU was a shitshow in house, Orgeron was on the hot seat, and we were going to suck kept gaining momentum and size like a snowball.
This leads to non-LSU people buying into that narrative more and more without using independent thought and research.
The type of game we had against Miami is one way to stop and reverse that narrative. Voters weren't set in their convictions that we were going to suck, they were just told we were going to suck.
Now they see we don't suck and it was easy for them to go back to voting on our ranking as if we were our old LSU selves.

From that link, it does look like this is the biggest jump in week 1.
TCU's 16 spot jump was in week 6.
The biggest Week 1 jump in your link was 12 spots.
