Just wanted to get the thoughts of how you guys think this team has performed as a whole up to this point. Have your pre season expectations been met, over achieved, or underwhelming? The offense is obviously improved but were you expecting what we have seen so far? Positigers and negatigers....discuss.

I expected the offense to be lights out but maybe not on the level so far

I thought the D would be a lil better frankly

This is what I expected, but I'm a positiger optimist. In the back of my mind, I knew there was a chance Cameron could be disappointing. So far, he has not disappointed at all.

I'm of the opinion that IF the D matures this team could be an all-timer, but that is a huge IF because we just don't appear to have the DB talent we're accustomed to at LSU.

I was kinda hoping for a little more as well. The sacks aren't as bountiful as they have been in the past. Maybe we have been spoiled by watching the defenses we have seen the last few years. Hopefully they will have a coming out party Saturday!

They have exceeded my expectations, both offensively and defensively.

the D is about what I expected after seeing us lose so many players...the O has done much better than I expected....

overall, I would say they are somewhat better than I expected...of course, the real season starts on Saturday, so my opinion may change quite a bit over the next few weeks....

Yes, right on pace. I predicted a 14-0 season. I predicted that this would be the best offense in school history. I was also thankful that this game was at the end of September so our young defense will make the mistakes and get through the learning curb while playing at home before this road trip. I am super excited about this team and where they are at! 14-0 here we come!

Better than expected.

I always think LSU will have a chance to win a NC, but until the first game I had a tough time envisioning exactly how they would do that. Now the picture's much clearer.

I thought the Offense play lights out. Cam Cameron is one of the best QB coaches in football. I didn't realize how good of a play caller he was.

I expected the defense to take some lumps but it's just upsetting as a fan to not have a playmaker on D for the first time since 2008. Tiger fans have been spoiled by a guantlant of other worldly defensive play for 4 straight seasons.

All in all I'm satisfied and optimistic about the tough road ahead

D-line-better
LB-not as good as I thought
Corner-TW is a physical corner with good cover skills and will only get better. We knew what we had with Mills a very talented corner.

O-line,OBJ and JL, RBs, and ZM are better than I expected although I knew ZM would be very good.
So as I expected, NO. Better than expected, yes.

I new the offense had potential, but i did'nt think they would be this good this early. I thought the defense would be better than they have shown it's probably because I'm spoiled from defenses of years gone by.

Far above expectations ( but the season is still young and the Tigers could finish 10 - 3 without necessarily falling apart)

Only time will tell but after watching Hilliard in the 2011 SECCG..... got fingers crossed that he'll wake the F up and be that back again. Then no doubt, combo him with Hill and .................

you get the point I'm sure.
