Is there any way that the Tiger D will not contain NF running game?

This was a big reason for the blowout last year. Could it happen again?

It will be good prep for the Bama game and the rushing yards they generate.

He's a true dual threat and if the D is too aggressive he'll take advantage of it especially with his legs. Defense has to be extremely disciplined. Make him a passing QB. His arm alone can't beat us

He’s not a dual threat.

He’s a running QB.

Seriously though. I think this game might be a perfect opportunity for Jacoby to spy the quarterback. I like that matchup of speed and athleticism. Just a thought.

I am not sure he has much of a passing game.

I like that. The same way we did with Dwayne Thomas vs Bama in 2016.

There’s a good chance we can contain him but I’m worried about him wearing us down and whether or not we can move the ball on that defense.

I know one thing. I feel a lot better about our run defense when having Jacob Phillips out there.

Moo's passing game is so bad that LSU can man-up and put eight in the box...

Won’t happen if LSU shows up to play. Last year we strolled in there expecting State to just lie down in their own stadium. Young guys learned last year that the other team practices, lifts weights, watches film, and wants to win also, so you can’t just show up and expect them to give you the game. It was a great learning experience for this team last year imo.

Fitz under Mullen with Mullen scheming would give me great concern. However, this year, Fitz has been perfectly pedestrian. UGA has a better ground game all around than MSU (although we didn't see Fields much this weekend) and we kept them solidly in check.

Aranda knows if you stop Fitz's ground game, you stop Fitz. He can't complete a forward pass to save his life.

I am inclined to agree with you, Champ. I would love a first rate beat down like we did to Va Tech a few years back. Man, that was nice.

I like our chances with Supa Dave planning against Moo State. Just need the players to tackle.

I said the same thing about Florida and we didn’t load the box.

They really need to bring him down with the first contact and maybe hammer him (cleanly) should the opportunity present itself...

Struggled against Felipe Franks, so this is a cause of concern
