If he won out, he would keep his job easily. in fact, a few exciting upset wins to end the season and he keeps his job.

O's arse is fired NO MATTER WHAT transpires the rest of the season. Even with a decisive victory in Tuscaloosa, his arse is GONE.

He survived after Troy. Troy should have been a fireable offense.

If he survived that, he could survive this.

Okay like, average 30+ points offense versus 0-7 points allowed, for the rest of the games. And losing no games.

So basically no scenario.

Yeah, if they won out I wouldn’t see them firing him.

Ed discovers the secret to time travel, replaces his past self right after 2019, works through the divorce so that it doesn't happen, and learns how to actually execute a plan from start-to-finish

This theoretical Ed has until the UCLA game to really figure it out; he can still mess up 2020 just as badly as in reality, but he would have to be able to beat UCLA soundly and have the team humming by 2021. Meet those 10-2 expectations and no harm would've come to him at all

He’s just asking what it would take, how is that trolling? If he wins out then that would be a miracle to a level never seen in sports before.

If he did win out and bama beats auburn then it would be close to enough to make the sec championship, I think. It may result in a 3 way tie which we would lose. If somehow it happened and other games went our way , then I guess in your scenario we also beat Georgia in the sec championship then we would play in the sugar bowl I believe against a good team that just missed the playoff like Cincinnati. That would put us at 10-3 with 4 or so top 7 wins.
That could be enough.

But lol to the thought of this happening and I’m ashamed that I even wrote that above.

The only reason I wrote that is because you asked a legitimate question and got 3 pages of People laughing at you so I thought I’d at least answer your question.

Please don’t ask it again

Starts with beating Florida. Still think he’s a lame duck coach. Hopefully interviews are already happening and we can get a new coach as soon as the season is over. Just thinking about this shite show has me excited to see the new look Tiger baseball team! Getting that spring fever a lot earlier this year.

Absolutely, he could keep his job. It’s beginning to look more unlikely though B/C the cancel clowns are on the loose. I think Mullen has it right. The fan base has a coach as great to awful on a play by play basis. Don’t misunderstand please, I think it is healthy to opine. When it gets so vitriolic about rumors of personal issues is a step to far.

He will not win out, and he will not keep his job. He is not a competent head coach. Aranda's exit proved it. By the way, you do realize that Orgeron did not like Aranda?

Oh so it’s going too far to call Ed out on truthful information regarding his personal life with female student trainers? Interesting

Bear Bryant couldn't win out with the injuries this team has had. I'm not defending coach O but, reality is what it is. This is the worst decimation I have ever seen for key players.

Winning out only puts lipstick on the pig at this point. There are some very real structural problems to this football program. It’s like painting building that is about to collapse, why do it? Once a collapse fully occurs rebuilding is tenuous at best. As I have listed before college football is littered with past empires that have fallen and never were able to fully rebuild….USC, Fla state, Nebraska, Miami and yes even Texas. LSU is no different. This is why that what Woodward has in front of him is a high wire act. One misstep and it may not be recoverable in near future. LSU is s very attractive job to many candidates but that doesn’t mean we are immune to being in the bottom of the heap.

Of course. If Orgeron beats Florida, Ole Miss, Bama, Arkansas, Aggie he'd end up 9-3 and would represent the SEC West in the SEC Championship. If he beat Georgia and won the SEC, of course he would be retained.
