I just watched Matt Moscona and Ryan Clark on After Further Review and they briefly spoke about Clemson LB/S Isaiah Simmons. They were very complimentary initially of Simmons but then proceeded to discuss how Clemson cannot try to matchup him up 1 on 1 with JJ in the slot because he cant cover. While I 100% agree that Simmons vs JJ with no help would be a bad idea for Clemson, I think it is a little unfair to suggest that because Simmons wouldnt be able to guard Jefferson that he "cant cover." I struggle to think of any safety in CFB who would fare well against Jefferson in the slot (including Delpit and Stevens). Is there any safety in the country who you think DOES have the skills to cover Jefferson?

59-19 LSU. They're over thinking this to take up "dead time". Monday can't get here fast enough!

No, which is why Jefferson in the slot is a huge mismatch opportunity.

Maybe triple coverage on him and leave another receiver totally uncovered.

Jeff has 12 catches of which 8 are crossing routes with 3 TD's.

There’s some great corners that could stifle him I think. Fortunately, there’s no defenses that can shut down the Jefferson/Chase/Marshall 3-headed monster with a Heisman winner throwing to them

Chase has been relatively quiet the past 2 games. I expect for him to show up in a big way this game

Would you trust Delpit to man up with Jefferson for the better part of 4 quarters?

A safety should never be asked to cover a 1st round NFL WR, unless they are just big, shifty fast WRs is a dumb mismatch

5-Headed monster. CEH and Moss have the highest catch rates in the entire SEC.
