If not, what are you cooking gameday? I am having a party to watch the game and trying to come up with an alabama theme for eats.

Get some wild game and say it’s elephant, don’t actually cook one.

Elephant sauce piquante is totes legal.
Especially if you use tusk ivory to garnish it.

Perfect Solution!! Thanks!!

I am also thinking of a "Ride the Tide" gumbo - all seafood from the tidal zone - shrimp, crab, oyster.

I'm watching the game at a neighborhood watch party. The hosts are Bama grads, who are providing the mains and alcohol. The rest of us are bringing appetizers and there are guests attending who won't eat seafood (wth?)

I'm making Cajun Sausage Bites but with Bourbon mustard dipping sauce instead, just to bring a touch of Tiger Stadium to the party. And of course, I'll be supplying the cocktail sticks

The Blue Waffle recipe actually has an elephant theme. If you google “blue waffle”, it’s normally one of the first results. Highly recommend.

This reminds me of the time we had okra soup at work but the cook spelled it orka. We had some dude from Franklin County Mississippi convinced he was eating whale. So yes, there are people that genuinely believe those pics are of a real elephant.
