there* really isn't at this point.

Although I thought Dave Aranda's defense did it's job, especially in it's first game in a new scheme.

The only silver lining is that everyone can plainly see miles needs to go. It's the first brick in the wall to crumble. The fans need to force their hand. Hit them in the wallet where it matters

Silver lining is Les needs to enjoy his last 11 games as head coach of a D-1 team

The silver lining that comes to mind is this:

If the team had a few loses in it anyway, better to have one now to get the conversation started regarding changes.

If LSU did a repeat of last year, where there was an early run only to get pummeled by the November schedule, it's entirely possible the administration would be behind the 8-ball with making moves.

Better to get the things in motion now.

That's all I got.

We opened with an SEC type team on the road, not a cupcake. Valentine will only get better as he gets in shape, and so will the D learning Aranda's style. The O-line will get better, this is the key to the year.

Valentine looked disruptive.it's obvious that he needs conditioning but he can make a huge impact on the D
