We’ve got 12 wins but 10 of those were “ cupcake “ wins. I know Trent had some bad teams but nothing this bad. Tell me the last time you’ve seen an LSU team this bad

Last year of Jones was really bad.

Trent Johnson had some real duds towards the end as well. I think we finished last in the SEC in back to back years.

There are still angry posts on the rant. Around this time next year you will see 3 page game threads during SEC play. Apathy is just around the corner again.

It will easily be and it’s not even close. MM was the wrong hire. I know most people just know football but you can turn a BB program around fast if you can coach and recruit. Not sure he is good at either.

People are definitely forgetting how bad the 10-11 Trent teams were. I was in school during that time and there was negative buzz around the program

I think it may be as bad as Jones' last team here. That team won 10 games, but the schedules are not the same. This looks every bit as bad as that team and that was the worst LSU basketball team in a very long time. Though just barely edging out Johnson's teams, I don't even remember a team that won 10 games or less before '16-'17.

No. Is that a ignorance based question or troll based or bitter Wade fangirl based?

Yeah, I recall during the end of the JJ years there were so few posts about basketball. Not there yet and I am still hopeful despite what is happening today.

What a bunch of bipolar fricks you people are. 2 weeks ago after the Arkansas win, anyone who suggested on this board that this team wasn't going to the NCAA tournament was mocked and ridiculed.

You can turn it around quickly if you're a Duke or UCLA having a horrible year. Not with a football first school.

The second and third years of Trent's regime were extraordinarily bad, as was Jones' last year. I don't know if LSU has reached those depths yet. Remember, LSU lost to North Texas by 20 and lost to NICHOLLS one season under Trent. This LSU team has yet to demonstrate that level of futility.

Can we beat Auburn and Tennessee at home, next two games?

This looks just like a couple of the really bad JJ and Trent teams that won like 2 games in conference. And I hate to say it, but the bench demeanor from McMahon is similar. No emotion or fire. When you combine that with the skill-level our players are performing at, you have a really bad recipe.

Go back and look at the records of the 2009-10 and 2010-11 teams. They were as bad as basketball gets. In 2009-10, the Tigers lost their first 13 conference games!
