Is the "mercy kneel" the most emasculating thing that's ever happened on a football field?

An act of mercy that was completely savage.

It has to be up there. Probably much less embarrassing if we would have just gone ahead and scored.

I’ve never understood how that’s supposed to be better than just running it in. I’d rather be scored on than pitied.

Not sure...but what I do know is Mett scored. If they had reviewed and overturned the fumble it would have been the worst loss in series history

I'd rather score again.

If I were the losing team, I'd HATE the mercy kneel.

It's MY RESPONSIBILITY to stop your offense. I don't want mercy - I want you to try your best to score, and I'll try to stop you.

Of course not. It's football, not bullfighting.

Mett called the audible to do the naked boot and it was Les punishing him.

Should’ve just scored. Who really cares what “writers” have to say after these games.

If OM couldn’t stop our offense, they deserve to have 60 pts scored on them.

It was Les proving a point to Mett about what could be described by some as a "Bush League" Bootleg that Mett audibled to on the previous play.

It was him telling Mett that shite wouldn't fly here. Rod Gilmore didn't grasp that concept calling the game.

That was 2011. That was not Mett's year.

I hated that we did that.

Would've rather scored another TD.

Les is such a dick. He was doing it to punish Mett rather than not run up the score. Mett went rogue and called an audible to a QB bootleg run on the play before, and Les was pissed at him for doing it.

It’s punishing Mett by not letting the rb punch it in?
