This thread is proof that you basically just threw shite against the wall with your Joe Burrow hype and got lucky it panned out. You clearly don't understand how anything works
SEC StatCat stats show that Thad Moss has the highest catch rate in the SEC, 88.9% - The SEC very likely has more NFL-bound DBs than any other conference. Moss is trashing them.

What sport do you follow, Lunch Box? Sure as hell isn't college football.

The kid from Washington is playing on a 6-4 team in a second-rate conference.

So just give the award to the guy on the best team? If we lose to Geargia there goes Burrow’s Heisman? To Fields who’s on an undefeated team?

Buddy, Thad Moss is a great Tiger. But he does not deserve to be in the conversation. Take the shades off.

My opinion is that Thad Moss is an elite TE

Then make an award and give it to him.

Moss is great but his numbers don’t warrant him being up for any awards.

Moss has the highest catch rate in the toughest conference in college football. And that is among ALL receivers... not just TEs.

You will remain clueless until some pencil-neck sportswriter TELLS you Moss is the real deal... then you'll swoon. EABOD, moron.

Oh well. I'm sure he would rather a NC. Just like all the other players up for awards.

On the contrary, I think Moss is wonderful, and I expect him to make it at the next level. It’s just that he has not had the year to justify this. Plus, no one, not even you, think he’s the best TE in college ball. The awards are not about potential. What if they gave the Heisman to a running back with 500 yards on the year and a 7 yard average?

Moss hasn't come on strong until late in the season. These lists are normally put out pre-season or early-mid season. He has taken it up a level since then.

I said he belongs on the watch list. You say he does not. Then in the next breath you say he'll make it in the NFL!!!

About 15 college TEs per year make it at the next level. (And I agree that Moss will make it.) There are about 50 TEs on the Mackey Watch List... do the math!

Here's the list again. Moss belongs on it. Your argument is getting sillier and sillier:

Bozo. The watchlist you keep posting was published in JULY At that time Moss's LSU career stats were 0 catches for 0 yards and 0 TD's. I'd say that's probably the reason he was "wrongfully" left off

Idiot. It is the ONLY list they have out. They are NOT up to date. And that is the point I was making.

If they are going to invoke John Mackey's name, then they should keep things current. Not do a half-assed job of it.
